Dutch hardware manufacturer Formani has won the coveted iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 for the ELEEZ door hardware collection, created in collaboration with Zaha Hadid Design. Selected by an international jury of independent experts, ELEEZ stood out among thousands of submissions worldwide. The award recognizes the collection’s fluid geometry, precision engineering and its ability to translate architectural thinking into a refined tactile experience.
Since 1954, the iF DESIGN AWARD has been recognized globally as a benchmark for outstanding design. Organized by the independent iF Design Foundation in Germany, the award evaluates entries based on innovation, functionality, differentiation, and relevance.

Inspired by helix-driven geometries, subtle shifts in ELEEZ form create movement through proportion, shadow, and material expression. While we particularly like the new door handle's organic expression, the ELEEZ collection extends to door, window, and furniture applications, delivering a cohesive design language that integrates naturally into the architectural context.
ELEEZ is initially available in five Formani signature finishes:
ELEEZ continues FORMANI’s vision on contemporary architectural hardware. Movement, proportion, and spatial integration all shape the design. Formani handles — used on painted or wood-veneer Fortius frameless doors — are not purely utilitarian; they become a subtle architectural gesture within a space.
